Before the French Open, Alcaraz sets out his ambitions:

Before the French Open, Alcaraz sets out his ambitions: "I want to be part of tennis history".

Carlos Alcaraz is expected in Paris this Wednesday to perfect his preparation for the French Open, and was asked about his ambitions as a tennis player. Although he has had very limited preparation, having played just one tournament on clay this year (withdrawing from Monte Carlo, Barcelona and Rome), 'Carlito' continues to set his sights very high.

Last year's semi-finalist, beaten only by Djokovic, the Spaniard will be aiming for another title this year. Indeed, despite a career already marred by repeated injuries, Alcaraz remains true to his mantra: to make tennis history.

In comments relayed by the BBC, the man who has already claimed two Grand Slam titles explains his desire to break Novak Djokovic's records: "Yes, you heard me right. I'm an ambitious man. I know it's almost impossible to break Novak's records, but I play tennis for myself, for fun, and I want to do great things. I want to be part of tennis history."

Sinner looks extremely calm, cold as ice and the other guy looks and acts like the main character of a circus.

No panic, no antics, no gamesmanship. Just game. So good to witness.
