Andreeva receives Sharapova's support:

Andreeva receives Sharapova's support: "I think Mirra Andreeva is going to have a phenomenal year".

At just 17 years of age, Mirra Andreeva is already the talk of the town. She first came to prominence at last year's tournament in Madrid, where she was invited to play before reaching the last 16 (where she was beaten by Sabalenka). In the space of just one year, the Russse player has succeeded in changing her status, establishing herself in the world's top 50. The player who has already twice reached the second week of a Grand Slam (Wimbledon 2023, Australian Open 2024) continues her ascent. Back in Madrid, she reached the quarter-finals this time, only to be stopped by Sabalenka.

Results like these, especially at the age of 17, are bound to get people talking. So Maria Sharapova, former world No.1 and multiple Grand Slam winner (Roland Garros 2012 and 2014, US Open 2006, Australian Open 2008), had her say on the Andreeva case. The Olympic silver medallist (2012) had no hesitation in predicting a glorious future for the current world No.40: "I think Mirra Andreeva is going to have a phenomenal year. I've been following her matches a bit in 2023, and I think she has a strong attitude, with the game to back her up. I really like her approach and her sensitivity to the game. I think she has a great future ahead of her." (comments relayed by the WTA).

It's not hard to imagine that the 17-year-old will appreciate the compliment.

Nole is right. Remember 2022. Rafa almost skipped RG because he was "injured", and still he won. 2020 is a similar scenario. So, Nole isn't trying anything, he is right with this

From tennis experts to Clairvoyants and psychologists. Wow, isn't that a progress! It's a blessing to know what other people think, even if don't have that ability. Looks that Novak lives in so many
