Struff:

Struff: "It's incredible, I've waited so long".

Jan-Lenard Struff won his first ever ATP title on the clay courts of Munich on Sunday. At almost 34 years of age (he turns 34 next Thursday, April 25), the German must have begun to doubt he'd ever achieve it, and his joy was matched by his relief after his victory.

Jan-Lenard Struff: "It's an incredible feeling, and even more so at home. I've waited so long (he played his first ATP match at the age of 22). I'm 33 and I've played for so long on the ATP Tour. It's a fantastic feeling to do it here in Germany.

I played some good tennis this week and I'm very happy. I've beaten some good players and I'm incredibly happy to have done it again today (in Sunday's final against Fritz)."

Jiri has previously beaten fritz, felix and rublev (twice) so he has a good chance of winning the Madrid open

A few days ago...I wouldn't have given Jiri a chance at the title. Now, his chances are as good as Ruby, Fritz and/or Felix's, if not better. He's got the goods.
