Video - Dimitrov on fire against Alcaraz, relive the highlights of the match

Video - Dimitrov on fire against Alcaraz, relive the highlights of the match

What a performance from Grigor Dimitrov! The Bulgarian produced some dream tennis to dominate Carlos Alcaraz in the Miami quarter-finals (see video below). He won in 1 hour 32 minutes and two sets (6/2, 6/4) on Stadium Court, where the public were as amazed as they were stunned by the tennis lesson given to the world No.2.

Winner of Indian Wells two weeks ago, Alcaraz won't be making the Sunshine Double this year. But the Spaniard can't even blame himself after this defeat. Although he didn't serve as well as usual, he just couldn't cope with Dimitrov's level of play. Very solid and consistent over the last 6 months, the Bulgarian is back to his very best. He will have the opportunity to confirm this even further in the semi-finals against Alexander Zverev this Friday. A win would take him into the Top 10 of the ATP rankings on Monday.

So Alex will beat Nadal in Barcelona and Madrid when he is trying to do a "comeback". The Australian is about to become a national villian in Spain.

Surely Nadal does not lose twice in a row to the same guy? Not in clay anyway
