Video - ATP Finals 2020: Rafael Nadal's incredible behind-the-back smash that set social media on fire

He wasn't even playing an official match, and yet Rafael Nadal made the tennis world buzz. His incredible behind-the-back smash remains etched as one of the craziest shots of the 2020 ATP Finals edition.

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the ATP Finals were held in London for the last time before moving to Turin. Despite the absence of the public and a cathedral-like silence during the matches, the 2020 edition of the tournament was extremely spectacular.

Rafael Nadal, in search of this title missing from his record, played a magnificent match against Dominic Thiem in the group stage, before losing in the semi-final to Daniil Medvedev after having served for the match.

Yet, it was during practice that the King of Clay impressed the most, by pulling off an incredible behind-the-back smash. An exceptional shot that quickly set social media on fire.
