Doping - Sinner won't be fixed just yet!
Jannik Sinner will have to be patient for a while yet. After a brilliant and historic year in 2024, Sinner seems to be playing at a much higher average level than his rivals.
Nevertheless, the Italian is still plunged in uncertainty. Still awaiting the outcome of the World Anti-Doping Agency's appeal, the current world number 1 still faces a potential sanction of between one and two years.
While the date of the hearing, and therefore of the decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), is not yet known, it may not come immediately. In fact, according to information relayed by journalist Giovanni Pelazzo, the hearing will take place after February 11: "For information purposes only, the CAS has published on its website the list of hearings that will be held until February 11, 2025. These do not include the Jannik Sinner case, whose hearing will therefore be held after that date."
