L'Allemand a littéralement surclassé Molcan, ne lui cédant que 7 petits jeux en 1h57. Dépassé d'entrée, le Slovaque n'est jamais parvenu à engager réellement le combat. Zverev défiera Tiafoe pour une place en huitièmes.
