Alcaraz-Musetti, Fritz-De Minaur: Thursday, November 13th schedule at the ATP Finals
There will be a lot at stake in the two final matches of the Jimmy Connors Group on Thursday at the ATP Finals in Turin. All four players in the group can still qualify.
The suspense will intensify during Thursday's session at the Turin Masters. The final day of the Jimmy Connors Group will take place. Not before 2:00 PM, the first singles match will pit Taylor Fritz against Alex De Minaur.
With two losses in as many matches, the Australian will have to believe in his chances, but he will absolutely need to beat the American in straight sets and hope in the evening that Alcaraz overcomes Musetti. Fritz, last year's finalist, however, is still the master of his own destiny. If he succeeds against the Australian in the day's first match, he will secure his qualification if the Spaniard defeats the Italian.
In the evening, it will be Carlos Alcaraz, winner of his first two matches, who will face Lorenzo Musetti. The Spaniard will need to finish the job and win a set to ensure his qualification.
Because if he were to lose in straight sets, he would exit the Masters if Fritz beats De Minaur. So, a day filled with suspense is in store in the Italian city. In doubles, the day's two matches will pit Kevin Krawietz/Tim Puetz against Simone Bolelli/Andrea Vavassori and Julian Cash/Lloyd Glasspool against Marcel Granollers/Horacio Zeballos.
