Davis Cup: Ferrer Recalls Carreño Busta, the Man of the Decisive Point Against Denmark

David Ferrer has strengthened the Spanish team's lineup for the quarter-final against the Czech Republic. Carreño Busta makes his grand return alongside Alcaraz, while Davidovich Fokina remains on the sidelines.

Spain will have a tough task in the Davis Cup quarter-final against the Czech Republic, led by Lehecka, Mensik and Machac. To maximize their chances of qualification, captain David Ferrer has chosen to reinforce his squad with a fifth player.

While Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the current Spanish No. 2 and Basel finalist, seemed like a logical option, Ferrer ultimately opted for the experience of Pablo Carreño Busta, who was decisive against Denmark last September.

The Asturian player thus completes a team consisting of Carlos Alcaraz, Jaume Munar, Pedro Martinez and Marcel Granollers.
