Federer's 2005 Wimbledon winning racket up for auction!
This Sunday in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, an auction will be held of several collector's items that once belonged to legends of various sports.
Unsurprisingly, on the tennis side, it's mainly rackets that will be in the spotlight.
The firm Aguttes, responsible for the event, will be auctioning off a number of rackets that belonged to some of the sport's legends.
For example, the racket with which Roger Federer won Wimbledon in 2005 is estimated at between 10,000 and 15,000 euros.
Also for sale are two rackets used and signed by Jimmy Connors during his incredible run at the 1991 US Open and his final career match at the 1992 US Open.
They could sell on Sunday for between 10,000 and 20,000 euros.
Other items for sale include Gustavo Kuerten's racket from his victory at Roland Garros in 2001 and a set (shirt and shorts) worn by Monica Seles.
If you'd like to take a look at these collector's items, Aguttes (located in Neuilly-sur-Seine) will be opening its doors from tomorrow, Thursday December 12, until Saturday for a temporary exhibition.
