On his X account, Taylor Fritz gave his impression of Roger Federer's exceptional 2006 season statistics.
The current world No. 4, who often gives his opinion on the X platform, commented on the comparison between Sinner's 2024 season and three other seasons played by the Big 3 (Federer 2006, Nadal 2010 and Djokovic 2011).
He expressed his admiration for Federer's performance, who posted a record of 92 wins and 5 losses in 2006, winning three Grand Slam titles in the process: "I can't tell you how insane it is to play 97 matches in one year. Especially when the Masters finals were played to the best of five sets."
A record-breaking season often regarded as one of the best in the Swiss player's career, and in the history of tennis in general.
