Alcaraz's 'See You on Sunday' Wish to Sinner: Tennis Bromance and a Multi-Million Dollar Payday
Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner kicked off their 2026 season with an exhibition match in Incheon, South Korea, that earned each of them over 2 million euros—nearly the prize money awarded to the Australian Open champion.
The world No. 1 came out on top after two tightly contested sets (7-5, 7-6) in a match played in good spirits.
"I Hope to See You on Sunday"
Right after the match, Alcaraz gave a brief speech and expressed his desire to face Sinner in multiple finals this year:
"Jannik, we ended the season (2025) playing together, and we're starting this one together too. I hope this season will be as good as the last one. You deserve the best, I wish you the best, and as our teams say, I hope we'll meet again on Sunday."
