Iga Swiatek faced Marie Bouzkova in the second round of the Australian Open. She opened with an early break, which she immediately surrendered back to her opponent.
But she broke Bouzkova's serve again, then a third time to claim the first set 6-2. In the second set, Swiatek dropped serve first and trailed 1-3.

She faces Anna Kalinskaya in the third round.
