Saturday's play at Le Portel ended in a 1-1 tie, after Alex Molcan's win over Alexandre Müller and Arthur Rinderknech's victory against Norbert Gombos.

Sunday's session kicked off with the doubles match between Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Benjamin Bonzi, and Lukas Klein and Milos Karol.

France Needs Just One Win to Qualify

The French pair perfectly controlled the match to win 6-2, 6-3 in 1:12 of play. Unthreatened, Herbert and Bonzi did not face a single break point.

With this victory, France takes a 2-1 lead over Slovakia and needs just one more win from the two remaining singles matches between Rinderknech and Molcan, and Müller and Gombos.
