Djokovic in awe of Federer: 'Every shot is a symphony'
Last week, before the start of the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer had the chance to cross paths.
The Serb first attended his former rival's training session with Casper Ruud on Thursday, before being in the front row for the doubles exhibition organized with other former stars on Friday.
'Every shot is a symphony'
After his first-round victory on Monday, Djokovic was full of praise for the Swiss, whom he has faced fifty times on the tour:
'It was quite unique and different to see him train with Ruud, it surprised all of us. He played incredibly well, it was great to see him play. It's truly a pleasure to see him play in person.
We all know he is the most talented and elegant player of all time. Every shot is a true symphony, both technically and aesthetically, in the way he hits and moves. Even retired, he remains fantastic.'
