The United States, defending United Cup champions, were eliminated this Saturday just short of the final by Poland in the decisive doubles.

A tight match that saw Coco Gauff, as last year, defeat world No. 2 Iga Swiatek (6-4, 6-2) on the Sydney court.

Swiatek's New Nemesis?

After 12 encounters she posted a record of one win to eleven losses against the Pole, Gauff has turned things around. She has won their last four head-to-heads, each time in straight sets.

An impressive streak that makes her the second player on tour (after Jelena Ostapenko) to beat Swiatek four times in a row.

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....
