Guinness World Records - A Pakistani Breaks the Record for Most Serves in One Minute

The Pakistan Tennis Federation has announced the achievement of a new world record.
Former international doubles player in the 35+, 40+, and 45+ age categories, Talha Waheed, has set the record for the most serves in one minute.
After three months of intensive training, this Pakistani player achieved the feat of 59 serves in one minute on November 8, 2024, surpassing the performance of American John Perry (42 in 2019).
This remarkable achievement highlights a country where tennis activity has significantly declined in recent years, partly due to the massive growth of padel.
"Talha's feat is unique, and securing a place in the Guinness World Records is no easy task.
This will serve as great inspiration and a major boost for tennis in Pakistan," said Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation.
