Holger Rune reassures his fans: "You can aid the healing process by being active"
Since his Achilles tendon injury in Stockholm, Holger Rune has been sharing the various stages of his rehabilitation. Just yesterday, he posted a video on his social media where he is walking again.
While many fans are delighted with his progress, others are concerned to see him returning too quickly, fearing he is not giving his injury enough time to heal properly.
"You can aid the healing process by being active"
In response to these criticisms, Rune finally replied to one of the comments on X (formerly Twitter) to explain the reasoning behind all these efforts:
"You can't stay in bed because you're afraid of falling. You have to push to the limits of what you can do, then improve and increase the effort whenever possible. You can definitely aid the healing process by being active, within specific limits, at each stage of recovery."
