"I am playing very good tennis," Djokovic rejoices after his victory against Arnaldi in Geneva

Novak Djokovic perfectly celebrated his 38th birthday. In the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 tournament in Geneva, the Serbian won against Matteo Arnaldi (6-4, 6-4) and took his revenge on the Italian, who had beaten him in the second round of the Madrid Masters 1000 in recent weeks.
The former world number 1 is just two wins away from a 100th career title. A semifinalist in the same tournament last year, he was defeated by Tomas Machac on the verge of the final and hopes to go further this year, as he explained himself at the end of the match to ATP media.
"It's an excellent thing to be in the semifinals here again. I hope this year I can go even further, that's the goal. I think I am playing very good tennis. It's a two-set victory, but it was a much tighter match than the score indicates.
I was down 4 games to 1 in the second set but then didn't lose a single game. I managed to find the optimal state of mind as well as the necessary mental and emotional balance to play my best tennis when I needed it most.
I hope to continue in this vein tomorrow (Friday)," said Djokovic, who will face Cameron Norrie (against whom the Serbian has never lost in four previous encounters) for a place in the final.
