Casper Ruud and Iga Swiatek have qualified for the mixed doubles semifinals at the US Open, where they will face Jessica Pegula and Jack Draper.

In a press conference, the Norwegian was very complimentary of his partner: "I think there isn’t much to add, other than that we had a great time together on the court.

We make a good team. I am truly impressed by Iga, especially by how she handles the men’s shots. She is able to return their serves.

From the baseline, she can rally with anyone. I would say that is a strength for both of us. We played by capitalizing on our strengths.

We had good chemistry from the very first point. I think that is also important in doubles. Yes, we won some very tight matches when we needed to, we played well.
