However, the Italian has arrived at the Masters 1000 in Toronto motivated. Cited by Ubitennis, he states: "I am happy to be back in Toronto. Last year, I had to skip the Canadian Open in Montreal.

It was a tough decision after the Olympics, but it turned out to be the right one. Honestly, I arrive here very motivated.
I had great experiences two years ago, I have very good memories, so I hope this will be a great tournament and a great event."
Musetti will make his debut in Toronto against Juncheng Shang or a qualifier/lucky loser.
