Zheng Qinwen will not reach the Roland Garros semifinals. Despite putting up a strong fight, the Chinese player ultimately fell to her nemesis, Aryna Sabalenka, who defeated her opponent for the seventh time in eight meetings (7-6, 6-3).

During the press conference, however, last summer's Paris Olympics gold medalist took issue with the world No. 1's grunting and made her stance clear after the loss.

"I’ll just say this. How can you scream when you hit the ball but keep screaming when I hit the ball? That’s clearly a hindrance (she used the English term 'hindrance').

I could have played better, but the rule needs to be changed quickly. If not, fine. I’ll also scream when she hits the ball next time we face each other," Zheng told *Tennis Up To Date* after the match.
