In his Netflix series, Alcaraz revisits his Roland-Garros semifinal against Sinner

The series *Carlos Alcaraz: A mi manera* was released on Netflix this Wednesday, April 23. In the first episode, he looks back on his semifinal against Jannik Sinner at Roland-Garros, where he was down two sets to one.
At one set apiece, he suffered cramps and recalled his match against Novak Djokovic at Roland-Garros in 2023, where he had faced the same physical issue: "I start getting cramps.
You're in front of 10,000 people, and you realize cramps are keeping you from performing at your best.
It hurts. It sucks to be seen like that. I can’t move as well, my mind isn’t clear. I don’t know what to do. I look at Juan-Carlos (Ferrero)."
Ferrero adds: "We can see Jannik starting to struggle. I make Carlos understand that Jannik is dealing with the same issues as him."
Sinner explains: "At one point, we both had cramps. Mine were in my hand.
Ferrero concludes: "It becomes an all-out war to see who can overcome the situation better."
In the end, Alcaraz pulled through and won the semifinal 2-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, before defeating Alexander Zverev in the final, also in five sets.
