Elsa Jacquemot endured a tough day against Yulia Putintseva. Routed 6-1, 6-2 in the second round of the Australian Open, she also lashed out at her coach, Simon Blanc.

“What a crazy scenario”

As RMC reported, he had previously coached her opponent, Putintseva. After losing the first five games, the Frenchwoman said of her coach: “He trained her for years and there are patterns he didn’t even tell me about—what a crazy scenario.”

Following the remark, Blanc decided to leave the court.

As much as I love watching Alcaraz at his best, I'd love to see Alex taking this, he's such a tryer, and getting married and his humour and humility...

Favoritism?

Last year: Sinner seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 2.

This year: Alcaraz seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 3.
