Jannik Sinner Reveals Why He Avoids Locker Room Chats at Australian Open
In Melbourne, while some players prolong conversations and linger in the locker rooms, Jannik Sinner follows a completely different path.
Questioned on the Australian Open's YouTube channel about his locker room habits, the Italian said this:
“No. Usually, I'm not there much—I don't like it. You run into so many people, you're always trying to talk, and it's a bit too much.
I come here to train, take an ice bath, and leave. I probably do all the other work at the hotel. I come here to train, take an ice bath, and leave.”
In a sport where mental energy is precious, Sinner wants to stack everything in his favor to conserve every bit of focus.
