Kyrgios withdraws from Cincinnati and continues to delay his singles comeback
Nick Kyrgios, known for his unpredictable game and antics both on and off the court, made a brief appearance at the Washington tournament to play doubles with Gaël Monfils.
In singles, the Australian hasn’t played since March, following a second-round exit in Miami. The rough streak continues for the 2022 Wimbledon finalist as he has withdrawn from the Cincinnati draw. He had planned to use his protected ranking.
Far from being at 100% physically, Kyrgios will soon have to make a decision regarding his participation in the US Open.
