Patrick Mouratoglou, former coach of Serena Williams, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Holger Rune, and Naomi Osaka, continues to divide fans and observers with his videos posted on social media.

After clashing with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga a few days ago, the French coach returned to the debate surrounding the dominance of Alcaraz and Sinner. While many believe the top 10 players alongside them are not up to par, Mouratoglou considers it too early to judge the competitors of the current Big 2.

"It's Not a Fair Comparison"

"Some of you have compared Del Potro, Wawrinka, and Murray to the current top 10. But if you take a look, most members of this top 10 are young: Rune is 22, Musetti is 23, Draper is 24, and Shelton is 23.

They will certainly improve in the future and might end up winning multiple Grand Slams. So I don't think it's fair to compare them, at their age, to Wawrinka, Del Potro, or Murray.

When they were 22 or 23 years old, they wouldn't have liked it if people said they weren't as good as the previous generation with Safin, Hewitt, Kafelnikov, Ferrero, Moya, or Rafter.

In ten years, everything might be different. The second thing is that some of you have also mentioned that they would have liked to see Sinner or Alcaraz win a Grand Slam by beating Wawrinka, Del Potro, Murray, and two members of the Big 3.

For your information, that has never happened. Neither Djokovic, nor Nadal, nor Federer, nor any other player has won a Grand Slam by beating all those players. That has never occurred."

Despite top-10 ATP rankings and consistent excellence, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gaël Monfils, Richard Gasquet, and Gilles Simon never claimed a Grand Slam title, enduring mockery from French media amid Big 3 dominance. A deep dive into a talented generation defined by sky-high expectations and brutal competition.

As much as I love watching Alcaraz at his best, I'd love to see Alex taking this, he's such a tryer, and getting married and his humour and humility...

Favoritism?

Last year: Sinner seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 2.

This year: Alcaraz seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 3.

That means: 7 matches in 15 days for Alcaraz, 7 in 13 days for Sinner; and no rest day for Sinner between quarter and semis, 1 full day rest for Alcaraz.

Also, on the first very hot day, the organizers schedule Sinner...
