Muchova parts ways with her coach after 5 years together
Karolina Muchova's 2025 season isn’t going as she had hoped. Struggling with a wrist injury, the Czech player was unable to compete in tournaments between Miami and Roland-Garros.
She also recently suffered a first-round exit at Wimbledon. She has now decided to part ways with her coach of the past five years, Emil Misek.
In an Instagram story, Muchova wrote: *"Thank you, coach—it’s been an incredible journey! Thank you for everything we shared on and off the court. It’s time to write a new chapter."*
For his part, Misek responded: *"Our collaboration was a wonderful and successful chapter, culminating in our WTA top-eight ranking.
I’m glad we concluded this partnership together and on good terms, as friends.
I thank Karolína for the time we spent together and wish her great success in her future career."*
