Munar beats Lehecka and Spain levels at 1-1 against the Czech Republic
Jiri Lehecka had the chance to finish the job after his compatriot Jakub Mensik's victory earlier against Pablo Carreno Busta. For that, he needed to beat Jaume Munar, the Spanish number 1 in this Davis Cup team.
Unfortunately for him, the Czech did not convert either of the two break points he earned and lost with a score of 6-3, 6-4.
The match between Spain and the Czech Republic will therefore be decided in the upcoming doubles match.
