Next Gen ATP Finals: Budkov Kjaer secures his spot in Saudi Arabia

The Next Gen ATP Finals organization continues to announce the players qualified for the 2025 edition in Jeddah. Nicolai Budkov Kjaer is the sixth player confirmed to participate in the December tournament.

Budkov Kjaer Next Gen ATP Finals

World No. 133, Nicolai Budkov Kjaer had a very good 2025 season. The 19-year-old player has already represented Norway in the Davis Cup, playing high-level matches against Argentina at the start of the season, despite his defeats in three sets against Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Mariano Navone. On the Challenger Circuit, he has won the tournaments in Glasgow, Tampere, Astana, and Mouilleron-le-Captif in recent months.

Budkov Kjaer sixth player qualified for the Next Gen ATP Finals

The Norwegian's consistency throughout the year has paid off. On their social media, the Next Gen ATP Finals confirmed Budkov Kjaer's qualification for the 2025 edition. He is the sixth player to join the participant lineup after Jakub Mensik, Learner Tien, Alexander Blockx, Dino Prizmic, and Martin Landaluce. Only two spots remain for the tournament, which will take place in Jeddah from December 17 to 21.
