Thus, Moïse Kouamé will be part of the action in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The 16-year-old French player, ranked 551st in the ATP, had a good tournament in Montpellier this week.
He passed through qualifying against Elias Ymer and Clément Chidekh to play his first main tour event, where he ultimately fell in three sets to last year's finalist Aleksandar Kovacevic (6-7, 6-2, 6-2).
Another French player benefiting from a wild card is Arthur Bouquier. The world No. 228 will try to make the most of his invitation. Finally, a well-known face, in the form of David Goffin, will also be present.
The 35-year-old Belgian, a former top 10 player and now ranked 115th in the ATP, will make his return to competition after withdrawing from the Australian Open in January due to a knee injury.
