She hasn't yet found her rhythm in 2026. But as Indian Wells approaches, optimism is building around Iga Świątek.

And it's a big one: it's Sam Querrey, former Wimbledon semifinalist and ex-world No. 11, who says so.

“She's dangerous in these conditions”

“It's tough, because virtually all the top players on both the men's and women's sides have had solid starts to the year.

But I'm betting on Świątek to make a deep run and potentially win the tournament, especially if she plays a few matches at night or in the wind.

I think she's dangerous in those conditions,” Querrey told tennis.com.
