Saturday's order of play in Monte Carlo: Sinner first, Djokovic second
The epilogue draws nearer in Monte-Carlo, where the semi-finals are scheduled for Saturday. Stefanos Tsitsipas, twice winner of the event (2021, 2022), will first take on the strongest player of the 2024 season, Jannik Sinner (25 wins in 26 matches so far). Both players will take to the Court Rainier III at 1.30pm (local time).
The second ticket to the final will then be decided, not before 3.30pm, between Novak Djokovic and Casper Ruud. The world No.1 will be playing his first semi-final in Monaco since winning the title in 2015. For his part, the Norwegian confirms his status as a clay-court specialist, and will be aiming for his first victory over the Serb in 6 head-to-heads.
Tsitsipas and Ruud are the last two players who can deprive the public of a dream clash in Sunday's final: Djokovic against Sinner, the world No.1 against the world No.2.
In advance, we wish you all a great 7th day of competition!
