Sinner is one set away from the US Open final!
Jannik Sinner didn't play his best tennis on Friday.
Jostled by an enterprising Draper with a visibly strained wrist, the Italian used all his experience to pull away in the semi-finals in New York (7-5, 7-6 after 2h26 of play).
Seemingly lacking energy at times, the Transalpine raised his game when he needed to, winning a high-flying tie-break (7-3).
The world's No. 1 now assumes his status and is just one set away from the final.
