Stan Wawrinka to play Montpellier in 2025
The end of the tennis season was decided on Sunday after Italy's Davis Cup triumph.
All eyes are now on 2025, and the tournaments that will open next year are already starting to prepare their casts.
The Open Sud de France will host its annual event in Montpellier from January 26 to February 2, 2025. For the occasion, the Hérault-based organization has sniffed out a good opportunity.
Stan Wawrinka, who turns 40 in March, will be playing in the Montpellier tournament for the very first time in his career. The Vaud native confirmed his participation in a video.
This is excellent news for the French public, who are about to witness the performances of several veterans.
Richard Gasquet will also be taking part in the Montpellier tournament.
The Biterrois native, who will retire from the French Open next year, had already announced that he would be playing in Hérault for the last time.
