Andrey Rublev has recently re-entered the Top 10 and is relatively pleased with his latest results. Despite his initial defeat in Washington against Learner Tien, he sees significant improvement.
He states: "Indeed, the results have improved, the game has improved, what we are working on in training has started to pay off during matches.
So that's a positive point. Of course, not everything is as expected yet, but there is a glimmer of hope, and thanks to that, the results are slightly better."
Rublev will face either Mattia Bellucci or Hugo Gaston for his debut in Toronto, a tournament where he might be able to stand out thanks to a relatively weak lineup.
