Tiafoe Donates $30,000 to a Young American Player
Frances Tiafoe, through his USTA Foundation fund, has donated $30,000 to a young American player, Russell Lokko.
The funds are intended to help the 20-year-old player cover his college expenses and complete his third and fourth years of university debt-free.
Tiafoe said: "It's fantastic—I was really looking forward to announcing this.
Seeing his excitement about being able to tackle his last two years of college without financial worries is incredible. As the son of immigrants, I’ve been in his shoes, so I know what it’s like."
Lokko, for his part, expressed gratitude: "I’m super happy. It’s a blessing to receive this check from Frances.
This will take a huge load off my parents and help me stay focused on what I want to do in college and in the future."
