United Cup: British team reshuffled after Draper's withdrawal
Yesterday, Jack Draper announced his withdrawal from the Australian Open, as well as the United Cup, the mixed competition he was set to participate in alongside Emma Raducanu.
This marks the second consecutive year that the Indian Wells winner has pulled out of this event, which has kicked off the season since 2023.
Three changes within the British team
Deprived of its number one player, Great Britain, led by captain Tim Henman, will now rely on Billy Harris, ranked 126th in the world. Other changes have also been announced within the British team, as Neal Skupski will replace Lloyd Glasspool and Katie Swan will fill in for the absence of the number two player Mingge Xu.
