Video: Alcaraz and Sinner Land Together in Australia Ahead of Australian Open
Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are inseparable. The two top players in the world faced off in an exhibition match in Seoul this Saturday, January 10. The Spaniard won in two tight sets (7-5, 7-6) in front of the South Korean crowd.
Now, it's time for the Australian Open for Sinner and Alcaraz, which marks the first major goal of their season. Before a potential rematch in the final, they have taken the same flight to Australia.
Sinner and Alcaraz Travel Together to Melbourne
Indeed, the Italian and the Spaniard landed together in Melbourne, the host city of the season's first Grand Slam starting January 18. The two men arrived safely (see video below) and will have several days to prepare for the tournament.
As a reminder, Jannik Sinner is the two-time defending champion, while Carlos Alcaraz hopes to reach the quarterfinals for the first time in his career in Australia.
