Unexpected scene at the Rose's training camp: Emma Raducanu, British tennis star, crashed the English rugby team's training session.
On Tuesday, November 11th in London, the 22-year-old player came to meet the players before their decisive test against New Zealand (Saturday, November 15th at 4:10 PM) and even caught a lineout throw, under the amused gazes of the players.
"It was a strange but brilliant way to meet her. The pressure she faces because of her success is something we can all draw inspiration from," said prop Fin Baxter.
"Emma spoke to the players about preparation at the highest level. It's extraordinary to have someone like her with us," adds England head coach Steve Borthwick.
A national star since her historic US Open 2021 triumph, Raducanu has been through a difficult period: injuries, surgeries, uncertainties. But in recent months, she seems to be regaining confidence and stability.
