Crowned champion in Beijing in 2024, Carlos Alcaraz had faced Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals.

During a point contested between the two players, the Spaniard made the Russian cover the entire court, stringing together drop shots and lobs.

Despite a beautiful defensive tweener from Medvedev, Alcaraz ultimately prevailed at the net with an impressive, unstoppable volley, earning applause from Medvedev as well as the crowd, captivated by the spectacle.

The Spaniard would eventually win with a score of 7-5, 6-3.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Grenier and Hsu at the Kobe tournament? The match was played to completion and on time.
