Wimbledon Wild Cards for Women: With Kvitova, Boisson Will Have to Go Through Qualifiers

The Wimbledon tournament, scheduled from June 30 to July 13, announced the women's wild cards this Wednesday.

Despite her request, Loïs Boisson did not receive a wild card and will therefore have to compete in the qualifiers.

Two-time Wimbledon champion in 2011 and 2014, Czech player Petra Kvitova has been granted a wild card by the organizers.

The other invited players are British: Jodie Burrage, Harriet Dart, Francesca Jones, Hannah Klugman, Mika Stojsavljevic, Heather Watson, and Mingge Xu.
