Paul:

Paul: "When Alcaraz starts to build up energy and momentum..."

Tommy Paul was beaten by Carlos Alcaraz on Tuesday in the Wimbledon quarter-finals (5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-2). After holding off the Spaniard for an hour and a half, he was then powerless against his opponent's level of tennis in the last two sets.

The American knows better than to let the world No. 3 gain confidence. Because if he does, he can quickly become unstoppable. That's what Paul explained in a press conference after his defeat.

Tommy Paul: "When he starts to build up energy and momentum... it's a bit different from most other players. And he can play some seriously amazing tennis.

You know, half the job when you're on court against him is not to let him win one of those crazy points. Because when he does, he can start to get on a roll."

With Novak's miraculous recovery from surgery, I sometimes think, did he actually have surgery or is it another trick, as Novak said he knows all the tricks.
