Tennis nowadays can really produce incredible surprises. This match is one of them. Players less and less consistent. Second set worse than the first. Truly, I thought Coco would pick things up, but the opposite happened. She has to work on her mental strengths.

Correct. You see it in many sports. It's the snowflake generation in general. To much energy spent on social media, less dedicated, more likely to be tired, less likely to trust coaches to help them find their best playing style (raducanu). On the women's side you go back 20,30,40 years and pull the best women out, give them latest tech and nutrition and I genuinely believe they would mop up.

Coco can't win a top player. She only wins in first rounds against mediocre players.

She won the WTA finals last year which only features the top players, this is a poor take Maria.

Paolini playing her game well. Coco very confused and has little control of anything. Far too many mistakes. If Coco doesn't clear her head soon, and there is no sign of that happening, it will be Jasmine lifting the trophy.

Still too early to say which way it will go but Coco, for the time being, not hitting well. As more and more often happens, things can switch around more times during a match. Without being too certain, I would say Coco will win over Jasmine in the end.
