Dimitrov Officially Withdraws from the US Open
His withdrawal was almost certain, as announced by his manager, and it is now official: Grigor Dimitrov will not participate in the US Open. He injured his right pectoral muscle during his match at Wimbledon against Jannik Sinner.
This withdrawal ends a streak of 58 Grand Slam tournaments played by the Bulgarian, which began at the Australian Open in 2011.
Alejandro Tabilo will benefit from his withdrawal and avoid the qualifying rounds at Flushing Meadows.
