With the way things are going at this year's French Open, the pressure is on Simona Halep to defend her title. As for the criticism about the Williams sisters being covetous,I'm sorry, but that's sheer bullshit. There are so many athletes who, one way or another, want, want a good paycheck in their respective sport. Serena was match ready, Sofia just played better, in my honest opinion.

I'm not that surprised by the result, considering that Serena had very little claycourt matches prior to the French Open. As I've said before, she needs to play more matches prior to a grand slam tournament,and not play few matches, and then show up at the grand slams, because that puts her at a disadvantage. Now she must basically move on to Wimbledon. Women's tennis, in general, is unpredictable. It's a tough call as to who will win the title. Hopefully Simona Halep does it.
