His travelling coach, Jamie Delgado, sounded as confident as Roger Federer had earlier in the week about the Scot’s chances of coming back competitively from a hip injury that had at one point seemed bad enough to end his career.“He played the exhibition last week in Scotland with Federer, that was good,” Delgado told Sky Sports. “That was the first time [since losing to Sam Querrey in the semi-finals at Wimbledon four months ago] that he had played against anyone at that level.
