Alcaraz much more convincing before facing Tiafoe at Wimbledon

Alcaraz much more convincing before facing Tiafoe at Wimbledon

After a fairly complicated first round against Estonian qualifier Mark Lajal (7-6, 7-5, 6-2), Carlos Alcaraz moved up a gear in the second round of Wimbledon. The world n°3 beat Australian Aleksandar Vukic in just under two hours and three sets (7-6, 6-2, 6-2) on the grass of Court n°1.

The Spaniard played an excellent match, hitting 42 winners against just 15 unforced errors. Good news for the defending champion, who faces his first real test in the third round, against American Frances Tiafoe.

I will miss you terribly, Andy. All of you. The good , bad, but never ugly. One doesn’t have to be a Brit or Scot to love you more than I. An American . You have my heart, forever.
