Alcaraz stumbles on the carpet in Buenos Aires!

Carlos Alcaraz will not see the final in Buenos Aires. The Spaniard, not yet fully acclimated to the clay, was knocked out by Nicolas Jarry in the semi-finals on Saturday. A bit too inconsistent, alternating between spectacular winning shots and sometimes gross errors, he fell in 1h55 on a score of 7/6(2), 6/3.

On the other side of the net, Jarry played an almost perfect match. Very aggressive, he was imperious at the net, ultra-penetrating in reverse and very solid on important points. The Chilean thus achieves the biggest win of his career and will meet the Argentine Facundo Diaz Acosta in the final this Sunday.

Considering rafa is playing one of the quickest players on tour and that this is only his 3rd tour match in well over 300 weeks I don't think this is too bad. Not too say I wouldn't have liked to see

Rafa never lost a 2R match at Barcelona before. It's really heartbreaking to see my idol going down like this. But I guess, if this is what it takes for him to be 100% fit for French Open then I will

Let's just say Trevisan is a better clay courter and played as such and Naomi has yet to master the surface.
