Gaston to play Wimbledon's big draw:

Gaston to play Wimbledon's big draw: "It's a bit of a dream for every tennis player".

Hugo Gaston continues to reassure himself. Ranked 104th in the world at the end of May, he is now 70th after winning the Lyon Challenger 100 tournament.

Accustomed to feeling a little uncomfortable on grass, the Toulousan has nevertheless succeeded in his challenge: to emerge from the Wimbledon qualifiers. After three well-constructed matches in which he didn't always shine, but managed to secure the essentials, the Frenchman was able to raise his arms. He'll be playing in the final draw in London.

Satisfied with his performance, Gaston made no secret of his delight in the press conference: "It's a bit of a dream for every tennis player to play at Wim. I was lucky enough to do it once. These are crazy moments. We're going to make the most of it and try to go as far as we can.

I know I can play very well on this surface, I never really doubted it. I always want to do better. On clay, I've lost a lot of tough matches. Those defeats hurt, but they were useful for the future.

I'm pretty satisfied, but I expect a lot more from myself. I'm starting to be a bit more consistent in the way I play and in my results, which is cool."

TT always get the TB score wrong when it's 7-0. She did not win it to '7' (I.e. not a 9-7 win as shown). Every other time they show it correctly besides the 7-0, when it should have a 0 next to the lo
